Stare straight at your FI. Seriously…it’s the only thing that calmed me and all I had to do is walk through the vestebule of my church (I’m Orthodox and we exchange rings in the back of the church). I was shaking like a leaf and hanging on to my dad for dear life, but as soon as I saw my now husband, everything else around me melted away…

!! I’m going to follow this to see tips too. I am not comfortable being the centre of attention.. I alway go beet red .. plus I know I’m going to break down and cry.. if i can’t hold it together during a commercial I definately wont be able to hold it together during my wedding 🙁 This is about the only thing I am worried about for the wedding.

If your Dad is walking with you maybe just try and focus on him and not everyone watching you? I think that’s what I’m going to try and do.

I’ve heard that it’s very easy to block everything out in the moment and just focus on your FI. My sister doesn’t even remember walking down the aisle, but she does remember her husband’s face when she did!

I am worried about this too, especially since I don’t want my Dad to walk me down the aisle.  That’s part of the reason I want FI to meet me halfway, then maybe people will be watching him because they won’t be expecting that, haha.

I don’t even remember anyone else being there, but my Dad and DH.  I really don’t remember anyone in their seats or anything. I was just waiting to get to him. It was like everyone else was blocked out.

Deep breaths, let me ask you a question.  Have you every seen a bride with a sweet smile on her face that didn’t make you smile?  The people who are going to be there are there because they care about you.  Hold your flowers and just do it.  🙂

Awe I’m with you I still have a couple of months and freak out when I think about it, but I will just look at my FI for support.
