I need help! My boyfriend has given me the option to choose the ring I want and I just can’t decide between two choices, I have fallen in love with both for different reasons. I am also torn between the price, though it is only a $400 difference. I am aa size 6.5 and not sure what would be best!
This is a 18k White Gold .86cttdw vintage double halo -F/G color
-SI-1/SI-2 clarity $400 more than the other one. The size of this one around is about the size of a dime. I can choose whatever wedding band I would like to pair with it.
This one is a 14k White Gold .30cttdw thin swirl halo F-G-H Color
VS-SI Clarity $400 less. This one has only one wedding band choice of $1000.
This is the stone I want for the center instead of diamonds on both rings. It is a .87ct Ice Blue Sapphire.

Oh my gosh! Second one times 1000! I mean they are both gorgeous but my jaw dropped when I saw that second one. If you truly can’t choose would he agree to surprise you? When I couldn’t choose I asked Darling Husband to surprise me 🙂
ETA: you should add a poll!

@kdrforever: the second one isn’t really my style so I would choose the first, but I’m not sure if a ring with a triple halo like that would be something I would want to wear forever. I think it would be really pretty with the sapphire though!

@kdrforever: I like the second one a lot

With that blue stone, I like the first one.

I had the same issue! There were two rings I loved. Since I knew I’d be happy with either, and I think surprises are fun, I asked my fiancé to make the final choice. He chose well, and it was nice that part of the proposal was a surprise, even though I knew it was coming.

Personally, I like the second one better. I like halo rings and my ring is a halo setting but I don’t like triple halo rings because it appears to look like a clustered ring. I don’t think you want that. The swirl with the thin band is very pretty. It’s different and I’ve never seen it before. I think it has an elegance to it too.

I think the second one would look amazing with the blue sapphire. I agree with PP about the triple halo being iffy on wearing it forever. The second one seems more ‘engagement-y’. Both very pretty though, but I definitely vote the second one.

The second one with the ice blue sapphire… Wow, just wow. I love it. Have you tried them on? When I tried on my ring I just KNEW it was the one.

@Ms.GoodEarth: I would love to try them on, I can’t find anything similar to them instores, they are both e-rings 🙁

The first one hands down!! It’s so beautiful and unique! I’m not really a fan of the swirl rings they look a little dated/out to me can’t wait to see your choice!

i love the 2nd setting. it’s so beautiful and unique.
yes, the band is $1000 but the ering is $400 cheaper so that only makes the difference $600. if you are thinking of going with a diamond wband regardless, you will probably be paying more than $600 for one. therefore, financially the swirl is a good choice.

@kdrforever: Neither are my style, but I could never stand an asymetrical ring, so I voted for the triple halo. I would put a clear stone in it.

I’m not usually on the halo train, but that triple halo is absolutely incredible. Maybe the only halo I’ve ever been awed by. I also can’t help but think it would look incredible with a green stone: like emerald, peridot, or green topaz. Seriously, I’m speechless it’s so gorg.
