Have you met with them in person yet? I just went with who I liked more and who I felt understood what I wanted more.

I would read ratings of both florists online and see if there are any reviews that are exceptionally positive or may shed some light on something negative about either florist. I’ve found reviews to be super super helpful in choosing vendors – especially if you’re planning a destination wedding and can’t meet with them in person! You could also choose based on which florist is more responsive, which seems to understand your vision better, which seems friendlier/more fun to work with, etc. or if one of them has already done florals for a wedding atyour venue before, choose that florist. (My florist has done other weddings at my venue before, so on the day of the wedding she knew where everything wassand everything was easy-breezy.) I hope that helps! If after looking at some of those criteria you still can’t decide, choose the cheaper one!

Hey!

I don’t know if this helps, but I ultimately went with the one who I felt like a.) “got” my vision for the wedding, and who b.) I wouldn’t stress out about them not doing exactly like I picture, because I like their taste anyway… That way even if it’s not quite right on the day I’m not going in wondering what won’t be right…

I’m super type A though…

I would recommend if you’re really not sure, asking each for personal references from former brides, and ring them up or give them an email and ask what the best and worst (or unexpected) quality about the florist was for their wedding.

There’s only one in our city, so… that made the decision for us! :oP

Luckily, it’s the mother of one of my students. She’s very reasonably prices and does lovely work.
