My e-ring is from my FH grandmother. I absolutely love it but i am l looking for either 2 thin bands to contour around each side or something with a similar design. My problem is I dont know what you would call my ring or how to describe the design. Why do you need to describe it? Just bring a picture or the ring to a jeweler and have them make or find something that works.

@lefeymw:  im also trying to find something online thats possibly has the same or similar design. Ive looked for filligree, art deco, edwardian, and victorian era rings but havent found anything that looks like my ring. i even tried searching for "scalopped rings". I'm not even exactly sure what decade my ring is from. all i know is that is was his grandmothers, she was born in '36 in Germany and came to US right after the war. it could have been made in Germany for all i know.

Definitely art-deco:) I always thought I liked the 'vintage' look but as I started looking and spoke to jewelers I learned that the detail that I actually like is best described as art-deco. Very pretty ring btw:)
