i love them, but there’s nothing wrong with getting a wrap and a band to compliment it.. the more the better :D.. i recently saw a wrap that made a solitaire into a halo and i LOVED IT!

I think some of them are really pretty.  The only downside is that they are not a “traditional” wedding band shape so they really can’t be worn alone – if you think you’d ever like to do that.

I definitely think it depends on the particular ring; I’ve seen some that I realllly dislike, but others blend together so seamlessly and look fabulous!

Depends on the ring, some of them are gorgeous, but some of them are quite “80s-tastic”

crebre80 where did you see the wrap that makes a solitare look like a halo?

i looked at a wrap last week and i really liked the look, it turned my ring into something totally different! (even though i love my ring, it looked neat)

Love them!  I’m getting one. At first I tried on a couple and they overwhelmed my e-ring and then I found one that was stunning with my ring.

Looks like Ellin (Yes, Tiger’s wife for the time being) has/had one.

It was easier to see in People Magazine.

That was all I wanted initially…mostly because I never saw a ring with a setting like I really wanted.  While some are really pretty, I kind of grew out of that phase.  I am really glad I have a traditional ring with diamonds down the side rather than a solitaire with a wrap that has diamonds.

I think it depends on the execution – done well they are wonderful but if the jeweler isn’t thinking clearly it can be very “Dallas”.
