Are you having some kind of welcome event (BBQ, meet and greet, etc) before the wedding? If so you could hand them out there.
If not I would just skip them.
We're having a couple of events beforehand (rehearsal, etc.) but those will really just involve close family & the wedding party. We did have a wedding block, but it expired a couple days ago, and not a single guest made a reservation there! I guess we underestimated the number of people who'd be staying in private cabins.
I think you're right - we'll skip them. We can really use that portion of the budget somewhere else anyway. Thanks for your help!

Logistically - how do you give guests a welcome/OOT bag? We're having a destination wedding. On our RSVP card, we asked guests to list where they're staying. Around 50% did, 70% of that group said that they're staying in family cabins (Lake Tahoe is a very popular vacation spot where we're from,) and the rest are staying at various hotels - none the same so far. How do you actually give guests the bag? I'm thinking that we might just skip them, particularly since most guests are very familiar with the area already.
