J - I know I don't have any info for your question, but when I saw this thread I had to post a comment. CONGRATS AGAIN sweet friend and good luck this week, I hope she comes a day early on Thursday!!!!! :) Bday twins with mommy's ITC (in the computer) friend. :P
Hope you are getting soon to delivering ASAP!!!
I'm 34 weeks and having the same issues. I know that he is head down but not "engaged" (well at least not the last time I was at the doctor). Those shooting knife pains are the worst though!
@missjyc- Hi hunny! I'm reminding the baby everyday that she needs to arrive early. We'll see if she's a good listener. I'll keep you posted, most likely through good ol' Facebook :)
@Miss Sapphire- isn't the pain so distracting! It throws me completely off anything I was doing. I know the baby's head is down too, but I don't know much else. I assume she's dropped, but I'd like to know that some of the other symptoms are promising as well. Have you had any Braxton Hicks contractions yet?
I knew mine dropped when I could breathe easier. Lots less pressure up high in my chest.
@jennifer_espos: so far today, I've been averaging about 2-3 BH an hour since around 9am. Usually I only get a few at night. And then run a dry spell for a few days.
I'm totally annoyed though. It's uncomfortable and kinda claustrophobic. Then add on the BH and it's really annoying. I have an appt. on Thursday though so I thought I'd just keep track of them and then talk to the Doc then.

I know this might sound like a dumb question. I'm just not sure. I'm 39 weeks now and my entire pelvic/vagina area is so sore (sorry for the TMI). Is that a good sign? Also, I've been getting these sharp pains down there. I joke that she's got a pocket knive in my belly because that's basically what it feels like, like little stabs. My doctors are the type to just give vague answers such as "that's normal", "you're doing great" so they're not much help in reassuring me that everything is progressing and that I won't be pregnant forever! I've been feeling these symptoms for a couple weeks now but I'm prompted to ask now because I'm so crampy today! But it's a consistent feeling of cramps, it's really not going away. I really hope this means that I might go on time.
What do you think?
