I try to do one album per year and then from there the major events that happened in that year.
I skipped 2010 because we were planning the wedding but can't wait to get started again!
I've always done mine by date. That's how my mom did all of our albums when I was growing up as well so it made sense to continue the same way.
I usually do them by date... But I did make one for my brothers and I by theme a while back--a section for birthdays growing up, then sports growing up, etc. But I definitely prefer to do it by year or by era--for example, I'm going to make an album of when we lived in CA, then when we're done living in PA I'll probably make a PA album.
I'm like you - allll of my pictures are online or just in various folders on our computer.
I think if I found the time to print out our pictures, I'd arrange them in an album by date.

I'd like to organize our photos from the last few years in photo albums. I'm the type that uploads them on the computer and then leaves them there, so I'd like to get them printed and organized into albums.
I'm uncertain if I want to go by date or if I want to set up albums for different topics, like a travel book and a family book. Any advice would be great.
