Or, more like, in what format do you read it?

Streamlined or expanded view? Or an RSS reader?

I read it in expanded, and usually just click on the first post, then do a "more in blog" arrow thingy. :) I also have it on RSS, which yeah, I know, is redundant. :p

Just curious as to what everybody else did!

I read it in the RSS feed, but I like to comment, so I have to open all of the posts in a new tab as I read them, and then after I'm caught up I go through all the tabs and comment on the ones that I wanted to comment on.

I read the blog mostly on my RSS. The RSS has a built-in browser, so if I want to comment or read the comments I can just click through and a browser tab with the post opens in the background. For the boards sometimes I read them on the RSS browser, other times in my regular browser (Firefox).

Is it terrible that I don't know what the difference between any of these things are or how to answer this question? I'm stuck in the dark ages when it comes to this stuff.

I just had such a "DUH!!" moment. I read a couple hundred blogs in my Reader, but never thought to put Weddingbee there! I love being on the Boards (obviously!), so that is reason enough to come to the actual site, but the blog reading will now be taking place in my Reader. WHOOHOO! :)

When I first started reading WB, it was all via reader. (I added a ton in a big flurry). For months I thought WB was written by one bride... I was so confused. :p

I do read a lot of blogs in my RSS reader, but I read WB straight from the site because I like to comment!  I used to have it in my reader AND was reading it here, but eventually just took it out.

I have no clue what any of those are. I read it just like any other website in a regular browser.

    @ Kattachi...

I have no idea either.  I can maybe figure out the expanded and the streamline... but I have no idea what a RSS is.  I see it when I surf the net all the time... but I don't have a clue what it is. (I'm not even technology illitterate. I'm pretty knowlegable of computers... but this RSS thing.. yeah I don't have a clue on what it is... besides it's some type of feed)  LOL

EDIT:  haha... I just googled it.

Yeah I have no idea what streamlined versus RSS versus expanded is. Would anyone mind enlightening us?

Uh...I have Google Chrome. Does that mean anything? lol.

I was reading it via RSS when I first joined, but I was frustrated that I never knew who the post was written by w/o going to the site. Now I just come to the site and read it streamlined.

Expanded. I never liked streamlined. I used to have it on my RSS feeder, but I didn't like going through it that way as much (too hard to comment!).

I'm a lazy one... I skim. And if the pictures are purty, or the topic is one that's on my mind at the moment, I read the whole thing.

In my defense though, when I get to the blogs (well, excluding now, since I'm in the States now), a whole day's worth has been posted, and it's kind of overwhelming trying to read them all. I get more out of it the way I do. :)

I read the entries on Google Reader and then I just click over if I want to comment.  Sometimes annoying, but I probably wouldn't read as many blog entries if I had to come to the site and go through them all.

I too have no idea what any of this means.  I have always gotten the sense that I'm not doing something right or the way most people are....hmmmm....

i do the same thing as you scissors--open it in streamlined, click on the first, and read the previous ones by hitting "more in blog".

My reader. And on mine it tells me who wrote each one. But I wish there was a way to comment on the post from the reader. Alas, not quite.

I figured out what all this means! The answer for me is streamlined. As of like half an hour ago. For the rest of you clueless Gals: On the Blog page, near the top is a tab that says "expanded" or "streamlined." You can click on it to switch to the other. Now, the whole RSS thing I've never been good at explaining, but I get it. HOpe that helps!

I usually keep it in the streamlined version, but a lot of times (especially lately when I'm really behind on posts), I just start with the first one and the do "more in blog" like you Scissors.

Expanded. But only cause it defaults to that on my browser. I do skim entries and then come back to read them later if they don't hit a chord with me in particular.

I read it in my google reader, its just easier for me to read everything at once instead of having to click on "more" to get the rest of the story.
