I use Google Reader. I love it but I've never used anything else.
I also love Google Reader, and having just recently discovered it, have not used anythign else or feel the need to switch.
Oh @GaBGal this is kind of random but I just glanced at your blog and saw you're thinking of wrist corsages for your BM's? I was just in a wedding where we did this, and carried parasols. I can post a pic if you'd like...
I have my Google Reader on all day at work - I love it!
Hmmm....I don't use google reader so I usually just add them to my favorites. LOL I guess I need to get with the times but I don't have gmail, I use yahoo so I never go to Google for anything.
I have my favorites set up on Google Reader as well, but I'm realllly bad about looking at them on there. I've also got them bookmarked and usually just randomly visit them when I have time throughout the day.
I use google reader, it's great. I used to have them all in my favorites and it just too much time out of my life to read what I wanted to read.
I think people who subscribe to blogs and people who follow blogs are different. I have about 80 subscribers, but not near that many followers. I don't follow any blogs, but I subscribe to around 100.
Google Reader all the way; however, lately I've been so busy I am probably 400 posts in the hole and will probably need to take an evening to weed through them all. A lot of them are wedding related so I don't want to miss a gem of a post! I have a blog on my profile so check me out if you want! :)
google reader! I also add it to the clips at the top of my gmail so that if something cool is posted and is popular, I see it :) It's pretty neat, I add funny blogs so while I'm doing work I can also take a little break, too!
I feel like such a dork for not using/knowing exactly what Google Reader is lol. Maybe I should do some investigating...
Am I old school if I say I just put them as bookmarks on my apple. I have a section labeled "Wedding Blogs". When I have time I just pick a blog and check them out. Of course, Weddingbee is at the top of the blog list.
By the way, what is google reader?

Love love LOVE Google Reader. Mrs. Avocado did a great post on her personal blog about it. Here is the link:

Once you start using it, you'll wonder what you ever did without it!!
Charm Bracelet ... ME TOO! I have a folder named "Favorite Wedding Stuff" ... lol.
What is google reader ... I must go- google it!
If my work ever blocks Google Reader, I will have to quit. Seriously. It is the only thing that gets me through the day with all of my wedding blogs and the "cute" blogs - cats, dogs, babies - I can't get enough.
i hear ya whitesonnet! I love having GoogleReader to browse through the day!
mechie - yes please send the pic, I'm looking for anything that would draw some inspiration!
OMG where has Google Reader been all of my life?
I think that by the end of tonight ... I will have added all of my favorite blogs! I may have entered a new level of wedding blog obsession.
Thank you
Hmmm... I think I am going to have to get Google reader now!
OK, so I didn't know that I had it all along! Thanks ladies for sparking my interest!
Haha sorry to jack the thread guys but GaBGal here are some pics of the wrist corsages/parasols...
And yes, I think like 6 months ago I also had no idea what Google reader was and it will change your life! Makes procrastinating so much easier :)
thanks mechie! im adding it to my folder of photos! you're awesome :)
On a somewhat related topic on here -- do any of you bees utilize functions like digg, delicious and such? I haven't started this social networking tool but I wonder how many brides to be are using it.
I love Google reader as well. I can't imagine what I would do if I didn't have it..
I'm so lost on what google reader is. I just started following Mrs. Avo and hers just gets sent to my inbox since blog sites (except this one for some reason) are blocked at my work...

The other day I got to thinking about how I read all my blogs. I used to have an RSS Feader set up in my Explorer but then my computer crashed and I set up a Google Reader. Its so convenient to have everything in one place with that. I also "Follow" a couple blogs directly and I have a few here and there that I just visit individually. How do you read and follow blogs? Is there a method you've stuck to?
My blog (http://crosscountrywed.blogspot.com) has 20+ followers on my side bar but on Google Reader there are about 30 listed. I also find a lot of comments from those who don't "follow".
Totally random question I know.
