I want to put it on all the time! I haven’t given in though, except for one time when I was home alone and I put it on for about five minutes. Fiance doesn’t like me looking at it because he hasn’t officially given it to me yet, which is cute because he growls when I poke at the box sitting on his desk. I want to wear it already!

i am having the same problem! i want to try it on all the time, it looks so pretty with my engagement ring. i ended up hiding them so i wouldn’t be so tempted!

We gave the wedding bands to my parents to hold onto.  I knew the temptation would be too great otherwise πŸ™‚

Mine should be here in the next couple weeks, and I know it’s going to be tempting.  Maybe I’ll either store it at a relative’s place, or have Fiance hide it somewhere.

haha i am guilty of occassionally trying mine on… i try to keep it out of site and therefore out of mind, but it doesn’t always work. when my fiance is not home every once in awhile it might somehow magically get on my finger and i may have worn it out of the house one time, but when you have a pretty diamond ring right next to you all the time what can one really expect??

Our jeweler tied ours up in boxes, and Mr. Octo put them on the top shelf in our closet (I’m a shortie).  Out of sight, sort of out of mind.

Solving this by not ordering them yet… lol! I want to get the “double bands” for my ring, so i know it will be like, IMPOSSIBLE to get them off of me once they’re on!

LOL, I had the same problem but in reverse!  I couldn’t wear my e-ring to work (the centerstone could catch, so it’s safer not to wear it), so I was just wearing my band.  But my band was designed to accent the e-ring and it looks so weird on its own, so I would put my e-ring on then forget to take it off!  That was so frustrating, LOL.

The Fiance put mine in his safe because I kept waering it around the house every night πŸ™‚ It’s probably better this way….. it’s just so pretty and sparkly I can’t help it!

Ha! I have a hard time not wearing it too! We went out once to dinner with friends and on the way there I realized I was still wearing it!! Ooops! I just switched it to my other hand and hoped no one noticed. I haven’t done that again but I occasionally will slip it on around the house.

Fiance made me promise not to wear it before the, I negotiated that I could try it on at the following times…

-When I try my dress on with my shoes (yay I get to use this one again, since the shoes I thought I wanted came in and were more bronze than beige)

-When I try my dress, shoes & wedding jewelery on

Its so tempting not to try it on all the time!

Hee Hee….when my band was finally finished and we picked it up, Darling Husband scolded me for wearing it all the way home (I think I just stared at it the whole way home!) Little did he know that I would “try it on” 1 bazillion more times!!! When we got home, I (obediently) took it off and stored it.  As the days, weeks and months went on, I would just get it out occasionally and look at it, then try it on….then I would put it on in the evenings while I folded laundry or read…etc. etc. etc.

Finally, Darling Husband “busted” me wearing it one too many times and took my ring to his safety deposit box. πŸ™  I was so sad….it was like I was grounded!  πŸ™‚  In the end, it was the best possible choice.  By the time my wedding rolled around, I was SO excited to get it back it made it really special.
