You know how everyone tells you that once you relax and just let it happen, it will? Well, I just caught myself googling "How to relax when TTC". Yes, I just admitted that.

One suggestion was yoga or meditation. I hate yoga so I think I've decided to meditate. 20 minutes a day. The thought of sitting in complete silence for 20 minutes a day has me almost giddy!

So, ladies, how do YOU relax?

I read NON-baby related books, to try and distract myself. i spend a LOT of time on the Bee, and I blog. And bake. And blog about baking. And go to the gym (spin class is my favourite). Um...and try desperately not to stare down the calendar and count the days.

We read about this song -- dubbed the most relaxing song in the world -- and we seriously starting listening to it every night. It's great. Helps me sleep too.

Making jewelry helped me.  It was a new hobby I started while TTC just to distract myself.

Like redsmarties said, reading "non-baby" stuff and trying to not obsess over my calendar with a gajillion TTC notes on it.  When I think about it, I get sad/stressed/worried about the unknown.  I'm "fine" when I don't think about it.  But when AF, or signs of AF, or babybumps stare you in the face, it's hard NOT to think about it.  sigh.

I'm a little type A about TTC after having been at this for more than a year now. For me, the most relaxing thing is having a plan. Even during the months that we took off, we had a plan for when we were going to start TTC again and what we were going to do the following cycle. It's probably not an approach that works for everyone, but once that plan was in place, I could let go a little more and not stress about what was happening today because I always thought "Well, if this doesn't work, here's what we'll do next time."
