I need to try something new. I’ve been eating and drinking way too much after work so im curious to know what everybody else does. Gardening is my hobby but sometimes I’m just too tired to do that every day.

Retail therpay! I’ll go shopping for either myself or something for the house. And either a Cranberry and Vodka or Bloody Mary when I get home (though I know that doesn’t help you).

I’m (loosely) working on a novel, and it really helps to throw myself into that. Otherwise, cooking is a huge stress reliever. Also, sometimes when I”m really just fed up, I put my music on super loud and just dance like crazy until I have blown some steam off.

Also, wine. Lots and lots of wine. Copious amounts in fact. When in doubt, a glass of merlot will get the job done my friend.

Wine, vodka, cooking… oh wait, you said you already have too much food and drink lol.
Walking the dogs, yoga, shopping, decorating, wedding planning (the fun stuff, not the stressful stuff), cleaning.

I’m a gardener too, and that is my therapy. The other night it was too hot and I was too hired to go out and do extra watering and pruning, so I have been trying to keep myself busy with housework (laundry, couponing), but I’ve also rewarded myself with some really affordable e-books to read. I indulge in some cheesy TV as well when I need to wind down and giving yourself a mani/pedi is very relaxing too!

Reading and long, hot baths for me! Tennis is also good for taking out stress/anger on the tennis ball. 🙂

Watching some suspense shows. Keeps me engaged trying to solve the crimes. (Not graphic kind). Reading a book, cleaning the house (if you can believe that! )

I take a shower at about 8:30 every night. When I have a chance to stand in hot water for 15 mins, I know that I can officially relax. I also enjoy a good run. 2.5 miles is enough to clear my head and get a decent work out in.
