I was able to remove mine by holding a cotton ball with remover up to my eyelashes for a few seconds and then the glue should be soft enough to remove. I don't think it should hurt, it sounds like you might be pulling our your real lashes.

My friend offered to add individual eyelashes to my wedding day look and now I want them GONE. I have eyelash remover but it hurts. Is it supposed to? I don't like pain but I want them gone so bad.
