I feel SO stressed out trying to study for the LSAT while working full time and planning a wedding. It is so difficult to concentrate on studying - I always lose motivation. I always feel unorganized and I get down on myself for not accomplishing my goals I have set for the test. How do you keep yourself focused???

I'm in your boat but I'm going to school full time. The best thing to do if you need to focus on studying is go to the school library, or make a study group that will force you to stay focused. Plus seeing all those other people studying motivates me .

When I was studying for the GRE (all 3 times that I took it), I would have to go away to some place that was quiet and really keep reminding myself of my goal. I looked at studying for the test as sort of a game or something that I was trying to "outsmart." Having that kind of attitude helped a lot instead of dreading trying to study for it.

I also really secluded myself (I lived alone so that was easy) but I wouldn't let myself turn on the tv or call anyone until I did X amount of studying. I would even talk outloud to myself because that is how I learn best. It is such a pain, but stick with it and it will TOTALLY pay off :)

Seriously, I have the worst ADD. My coworkers/ managers are like "K... seriously... focus. For 2 seconds. Ritalin just made me mean, so I gave up on the meds!
