This book (http://www.someonespoilme.com/gift-review/groom-guide/) is hiliarious and actually filled with really good stuff!
we went to look at the venues together, and my fi was very open with his opinions. once he got an idea of what i was looking for, he was able to start looking for different venues on his own, and he actually found ours for us!

I'm in the initial planning stages (thinking about venues, what type of reception, etc) and have been trying to include FI in the thought process but I think he's feeling bad he isn't coming up with ideas of his own. He expressed the desire to do this, but at the same time, not knowing where to start.
Does anyone know of any good resources I can point him to, so that he feels like he is participating?
We aren't at the stage where I can give him a specific task (like research a DJ).
I'm an event planner at heart and he is not - and I've been very, very intentional in our conversations so he doesn't feel left out - but it's obviously not working well.
Would love to know what techniques worked (or not worked) for you!
