So a few months ago, shortly after getting engaged, I was shopping for dresses at David's Bridal. While the experience with bridal gowns was terrible, I found a dress that I fell in love with and thought would be perfect for my BM. I couldn't resist they had two of the dresses (the number of BM I will be having in my wedding) and they were on sale for get this twenty dollars. They were a style that was discontinued so I made them my first wedding purchase.  At that point I had already decided that I would be using bright pink, orange, lime green and brown, the colors in the dresses but had no other plans.

Since buying the BM dresses, which my BM's love I have picked a dress for myself and I was wanting an unbiased opinion on how these dresses will look together. Thanks ladies for the valued opinion.

Im attaching photos of my briadsmaid dresses and the link for my dress

    oh wait!! there they are!

They are cute, but they don't seem as dressy as your dress.

    MBB-

The BM gowns are really pretty! But I agree with Nicole, they are more appropriate for a destination beach wedding. If they were only $20 each it won't be a huge loss, mabye you could give them to the girls as a "thank you" for being in the wedding.

    Sorry :(

I'm going to respectfully disagree with other comments and say that I think those dresses will be beautiful with your dress, especially since you're having a small wedding party...Personally, I think for an outdoor wedding, those are awesome and as a bridesmaid, I would be very happy to wear that and I think it works great with your dress and what it sounds like the vibe of your wedding is going to be...And what a great price, only $20 each!

I think they look great together, especially if you aren't doing a super-formal wedding.

I have a maggie sotoro dress as well!! I LOVE your dress! In my opinion, the bridesmaids dresses look a little beachy, or casual I could say..but the mixture your putting together SO has been done before!! I see this on southern weddings ALL THE TIME. I think it'll look great...and who says it's wrong? It's YOUR day!! Make it what you want girl!

Nothing about the wedding is formal. I had planned on a modest gown but fell in love with the summer royale as soon as I tried it on I didn't want to come out of it. Thanks for the input ladies, Im starting to feel a little better about it.

I agree with trailmix. Those dresses are GREAT!

Who says you have to be formal. And, if you're really worried about being "formal" - have their hair in an updo and give them a shawl.

Seriously - I wouldn't worry about it - those dresses are adorable and different - and THAT is what will make YOUR wedding special.

**Never forget - it is YOUR day!!!

I think the dresses will look great with your dress. If you think they look a little too casual...have your BM's wear their hair up and wear some great chandelier earrings and some nice strappy sandals.

I think they'll look great with your dress! I agree with JamaicaBride - it would be very easy to dress them up with an updo and some strappy sandals and jewelry! I think those dresses are great!

Those dresses remind me of something I saw on David Tutera's My Fair Wedding. Lovely and spring-like!

Wow!  I think you should go for it.  You got a great deal, pretty dresses, happy bridesmaids, a flowery outdoor style for a spring wedding, and even a couple flowers on your dress to tie it together.  I say go for it and don't worry so much, it will look fabulous!
