Ummm he doesn’t. LOL. All my life I dreamed of having my wedding colors be rose, blush pink and Ivory with gold accents. Gorgeous right???!!! Well, that was a big NO go when my guy told me he really didn’t want any pink. I figured I would be getting my way with most of the details and planning, so I gave up my wedding color dreams. Still a little sad over it 🙁

I know what you mean, some of the ideas I have are just too girly for FI haha. A lot of the time he likes most of my ideas 😉 he says he kind of accepted a long time ago that weddings are kind of frilly. We try to incorporate lots of personal elements to tone down the lack of masculinity haha, plus he’s really excited about having a groom’s cake!

@SamanthaSadlier: Those are our wedding colours, like exactly haha! FI says as long as we do white instead of ivory he’s alright (white is his favourite ‘colour’).

He says “Why don’t you ask Wedding Bee?”

No joke.

Our wedding doesn’t really have that many girly details. I mean there are flowers in the bouquets and centerpieces and the aisle is going to be lined with red parasols but other than that it’s pretty basic. Our colors are red and tiffany blue so there’s not a lot of room to be uber-girly. I think the one thing that could be girly (bouts) is the thing I’m most adament about not making girly.
