NOW! I'm having my trial soon and my wedding isn't until June. I think it's a good idea to go in for a trial at least three months before your wedding so that if you don't like the results of your trial, you can either find someone else or work with the same person to get it right.
Book now!
I booked my hair/make-up people like a year before the wedding, and they said I called just in time because my month was filling up fast.
Also, weddings are usually on Saturdays, which are the businest days for stylists to begin with.
Chiming in with the other bees. BOOK NOW! My aunt just booked her appt for her June wedding last week.
How early should one "insert wedding planning task"? The answer is usually "ASAP".

so here is my issue... i have always went to the same hairstylist, but within the last couple of years i haven't been going hardly at all because she jacked up her prices majorly when she opened her own salon. but i always figured i would have her do my hair for my wedding. well my mom, sister and cousin always went to her to get their hair done as well. so when it came time for my cousin to be MOH in her roomie's wedding she went to have her hair styled by this lady. now we have always only had cuts/coloring done by her before and she was amazing at that. but what my cousin asked for (even had a picture to give her) was nothing at all what her hair looked like.
she wanted a more loose style and ended up with one of those tight hair spray filled looks. so now i really don't want her to do my hair for the wedding, but now i don't know anyone else in the area (metro Detroit)! so now it is 2 months before the wedding, but when should i really book someone for and how soon before should i have the hair trial?
