@lilsweetie:  Do you know when you ovulated? CD 29, if you ovulated on or around 14, you could certainly test. If you only ovulated on CD 20, it probably wouldn’t come up as positive, even if you are. I tested at 12 DPO when I got my BFP, but I thought it was 10 at the time.

Depends– if I want to have drinks that night, I’ll test in the morning from, say, 14dpo or CD28, just for peace of mind ($1 store only!). So usually the first Friday after that happens πŸ™‚ But we are somewhere between TTA and NTNT at the moment, so it’s pretty unlikely anyway.

I had a bad habit of testing daily…. it’s expensive though so I probably wouldn’t recommend it! And getting a constant negative can be discouraging…

@lilsweetie:  You could test tomorrow morning with FMU at 11 DPO. There’s definitely still a possibility of a false negative, so it depends on which is better for you emotionally. I always felt like a negative was okay, because it was about not getting my hopes up, but we hadn’t been trying very long. You CAN get a BFP at 11 dpo, but you have to decide what bugs you less–waiting without a result, or having a negative you’re not sure is accurate. Do you know how long your LP usually is?

I always made myself wait until either the day before or the day that my period was due, depending on what my BBT was doing. If it swung up the day before AF was due, I’d test. If it was still up the day AF was due, I’d test. I hated seeing negatives.

I tested on 12dpo and got a BFP. I was always pretty impatient but at that cycle I swore I wouldn’t test until I started feeling off and having severe heartburn. Good luck.

I bought a LOT of cheap tests so I could test early and often. I never had the willpower to wait! I got a BFP three times. The first time idk how many DPO I was, the second time I was 12DPO and this last time (sticky baby!!!) I was 8DPO when I got my BFP.

Good luck πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I was 16 DPO when I got my BFP. =) I confess! I have been an early tester in the past! But this has changed lol. I will wait at least 14 DPO from here on out.

@lilsweetie:  I ONLY test with first morning urine, until I got a BFP. Then I was testing like every 2 hours to be sure I wasn’t seeing things. For like a week. Lol. Sadly…one test did come back fainter, and then it became negative, then I MC’ed. So, that’s why I’m waiting longer now. It becomes easier to wait longer with time I think.

I tested the day after my AF was due, in the afternoon and got a dark positive.
