Are you taking pictures before your wedding? That could take time...Are you a morning person?
I am personally doing a similar thing as you and I will be at the salon at 11am for a 3pm ceremony. :) Though I am considering 10am because I feel that I won't be able to sleep in that day. It will be like Christmas and the first day of school but more exciting!
Good luck
I went to two salons - one for my hair and another for my makeup. I had my hair appointment at 9 am. I drove another 30 minutes to the other salon for my makeup appointment at 11:30 am. My ceremony was at 2:30. My makeup salon was 10 minutes from the hotel where we were all getting dressed.
no pictures ahead of time and no photographer while I'm getting ready - i'm a morning person and we've also scheduled our rehearsal two days before so the day before may be spent running around but it won't be a late night of drinking either.
i am leaving my house at 8:30 in the morning and my makeup artist is coming at 5:30am to do my hair and makeup
I would say a little bit earlier, rather be a little early than too late. Also, will your hairdresser be with you on your ceremony site? Many ladies will accompany you for a small fee that in my opinion is WELL worth it!

I was at my salon recently and decided to make my trial and day of appointment. When the girl asked me the time for my appointment the day of the wedding I was like deer in headlights. I had no clue. Here's my situation. My ceremony is at 1pm. The all-in-one venue is 5 minutes from my house. The hairdresser is 7 minutes from my house in the opposite direction. I have no bridal party and I'm just taking a long-time male friend with me to the salon for company. I'm having my make up done there as well. I have short hair and I'm wearing a head band so it should be a fairly easy appt. After my appt. another friend will be joining us back at my place. I only wanted a few people around me while getting ready to keep the atmosphere really relaxed. So my appt. is 3 hours before the ceremony. Do you think this is cutting it too close?
