Im 25 weeks and currently dont have stretch marks on my belly. But Ive just been readng about them so i googled them and now have put myself in a funk. :/ i know that there is nothing you can do to really stop them from coming.. so i was just wondering if more people got them in the later weeks or what ever..
yes i already have a few “old” marks on my hips and boobs so am guessing i will get these ones too.
*put in a poll, couldnt fit in more weeks so they are grouped.
**** can this please be moved to a pregnancy board/ or should it be in babies??? ****

I’m only 10 weeks, so no stretch marks yet, but I MAY have gained a bit of weight quickly last year, and have a little bit already on my hips from that. But those are old news.

I didn’t get any stretch marks during my pregnancy, but I did years ago on my hips, boobs and thighs when I went through puberty. I didn’t do anything in particular to prevent them. As far as I’m aware, there really is little you can do, and the stretch mark creams haven’t been proven effective.

i got three tiny ones at 30 ish weeks… now at 38 weeks i have quite a few more. im sad about it but hopefully they will fade and not be too noticable.

Got out of the shower one morning at 32 weeks and was shocked to see that they had made an appearance. Mine are low, though…not around the belly button like a lot of women.

Didn’t get them during pregnancy, already have plenty on my hips and thighs from puberty. I didn’t do anything to prevent them – I was accpepting that I would get them – but didnt!

I didn’t get stretch marks except for a few on my boobs (that I probably got around 20 weeks). I didn’t do anything to prevent them and gained about 50 lbs (though a lot of that was fluid in my legs). I think it’s mainly genes. I didn’t get any during puberty either.

I didnt get any stretch marks. I felt a slight itch one day on my belly and scratched all day until I noticed where I was scratching was red a welped! I IMMEDIATELY went to the store (Walmart) and bought Palmers tummy butter with cocoa butter. I used it everywhere, everyday!!!! It kept my skin very moisturized and kept the stretch marks away. I still use it!

I didn’t get any. I used cocoa butter throughout my pregnancy on nearly every body part.

I voted that I didn’t get any, but I got one small ome on my left boob when my milk came in a few days after I gave birth. I forgot about it. It never turned red or anything, it’s just kind of been silvery since the beginnnig. I have zero breast tissue, my boobs are 100% implant, so that skin never grew and stretched during puberty. It stretched all at once when I got my implants and then I guess it decided that was it and it couldn’t stretch anymore without making marks when my milk came in, (holy freakin’ boobs, I shoulda taken a picture, it was ridiculous)
I used cocoa butter on my belly but I didn’t do my boobs. I don’t think it did any good, I think it was just genetic. I was 95 lbs pre pregnancy and 120 on the day I gave birth.

I was about 37 weeks when I noticed my first one and I was crazy about moisturizing 🙁 I was pretty devastated but what can you do.

I didn’t get them.
They say you either get them or you don’t, no amount of lotion/oil will change that. I felt better doing something though, so I used “Mother’s Special Blend” oil.

Haven’t been pregnant yet but I have some at the top of the inside of my thighs that I don’t have a good reason for, it was well after puberty and I never have had any massive weight fluctuations.
