Just make sure you are drinking a ton of water and eating water dense foods like fruits and veggies! And cut back on salty stuff. Also, I think part of the reason your tummy is poking out in this pic at least is because your back looks curved a little. So maybe working on your posture would help too? I know that has helped me! I have awful posture from sitting at a desk all day lol.

reduce sodium intake on your period

maybe a pain and anti-nflammatory over the counter, like ibuprofen or something else

warm patch

warm bath

eat fiber, drink lots of water and relax during those days

by the way, people can be mean, ignorant or blind sometimes!! becouse your stomach look inflammated, not really like a pregnant belly.

i totally agree on your posture thing… it can help on reducing pain also!! walk, stand and sit straight, for a few days, you might notice some differences :):)

good luck

@Naiexoxo: I agree. Lots of water and fiber. And take meds to reduce pain.

I’m right there with ya though….I look all blown up like a balloon during the first 1-3 days of AF:(

Lol Hun,you have no idea how much I would love to trade my stomach for yours! At least it’s not actually fat! If that’s you’re only problem, then I am officially jealous.

Have you tried diuretics? Diurex is a good OTC, but you can probably convince your doc to give you a prescription diuretic if this is a monthly problem. Side note: I am NOT trying to scare you, but constant excessive bloating can indicate underlying health issues in some cases, so if this isn’t just a monthly thing then you may want to get checked out just to be safe.

@AussieSummer: The pregnant belly is more round and more “stuck together.” No worries, we all have our bloated days. Water and fiber, and reduce the salt. You’ll be fine.

Also… 3 years ago, my waist was 29 inches. I lost 24 pounds, and my waist was 25 inches. I got pregnant. At 16 weeks, my waist is the same 29 inches it was 3 years ago. ANNOYING.

Bellies are weird and never do what you want.
