The issue usually isn’t how long it takes you to get ready, but how long it takes your whole group to get ready. I have 4 maids and a mom, and we are all getting our hair and make-up done for a 3pm ceremony. We will probably start at about 8 or 9 in the morning, with the goal to be 100% ready to go at 2:30pm.

Well, I started around noon for my 4:00 wedding. I had no one else to take care of because I chose not to have a wedding party. My hair is very long and thick and we were curling it so the hair/makeup was long.

My timeline is this:

10:30-3:00 Hair & Makeup people at bridal suite. The plan is for them to start on other people first and do me close to last so my hair and makeup are as fresh as possible.

3:00-3:30 Get into my dress, more pics of getting ready

3:30-4:30 Pics with BMs, mom & dad, etc. at the venue before guests arrive for the ceremony

4:30-4:45 Groom and GMs arrive at venue from hotel; I go into hiding with my girls

4:45-5:15 Guests arrive; hiding upstairs with the BMs, touch ups if necessary

5:30 Ceremony begins!

ETA: Oh wow I only JUST realized reading that that I have to factor time to get myself from the hotel to the venue. Duh. Glad I posted this at least!
