How far in advance do you schedule a wedding hair appointment?

I'm getting married at the end of July and don't know when I need to book an appointment at a hair salon. I'm just want something simple (pulled half up and curled), so I don't need a hair trial. I should also mention that I'm going to lie to the salon and say it's for some other type of event so that they won't up the price for it being a wedding.

I'd book it ASAP. I'm sure you could wait a little while, but to ensure that you have someone, I'd call now. If you call well enough in advance maybe you'll end up with one of the better hair stylist?
