We did it all super early. Like a little over a year to the date. The flower girl and the ring bearer were a given, there was no decision to make, we were told who they would be (nice). The readers are my Aunt and his Uncle so we asked them right away. We took our time finding readings for them though. And the rest were all family or close friends so they were basically a given too. But, I'd suggest taking your time when picking these people. We should of too.

how far in advance did you ask your participants in the ceremony to be a part of your wedding (ie: readers, musicians, ushers, flower girls/ring bearers, sponsors (if you have them), etc...??
