Ours was mid October for our 12/31 wedding...about 6 weeks before. I wouldn't change the timing but we did a lot beforehand so there wasn't much going on at that time.
Mine was exactly 3 months from my wedding. I would have probably had it maybe a month closer to my wedding.
My showers were 1.5 and 1 month(s) before my wedding. Things were so crazy at that point and I was so busy at work I would have preferred they were earlier, but I was still very grateful for so much attention and love.
My shower is almost exactly 3 mo before the wedding. I know that is pretty early, but my MOH lives a plane ride away and i REALLY wanted to minimize the number of times she was flying up here for wedding stuff. So we're having it the sunday after thanksgiving bc she'll be here to see her family anyways.
I had my first shower on May 1 and the second on May 23 before my June 26 wedding. But we were working around finals and graduation, so those were really the only dates I could do it. We did the bachelorette a the weekend after the second shower too.
Maybe you could do the shower on Saturday afternoon and then go out for the bachelorette? Or do the bachelorette Friday and the shower Sunday?
Thanks ladies. I just feel bad because we have to squeeze both of them within like 3 weeks of her wedding, and I just feel like it's really pushing it. But, oh well, it'll work out. Maybe we can do a Friday bachelorette and a Sunday shower.
I had my shower a week before my wedding and it was fine!
I knew about it and so I could plan accordingly!

I have a very short window of time to throw my SIL's bridal shower, and I just can't remember how stressed I was in the weeks before my wedding. We also have to squeeze the bachelorette party in this time frame, too. So, I am asking you almost married Bees, when was your bridal shower, and please note if you would have changed when it was.
