is it ok to get facials 2 months apart if you’re in your early 30s? I want to get one shortly before my wedding and have a friends bachellorette party at a spa to go to 2 months earlier and would like to get one then as well. Thanks

@mseagles: Yes! It’s totally fine to get a facial once a month. A two month gap is more than fine!

@mseagles: Just by Googling (I don’t go to spas personally) because your question made me wonder …
- regular facial (regular maintenance) – one per season (one every four months)
- deep cleansing – every 6-8 weeks
- concentrated maintenance (if you don’t really do anything at home) – every 6-8 weeks
It’s not that you can have too many, it’s just how effective they are at what you want.
Basically, it won’t be harmful but it won’t necessarily do as much.
Go for it! Oh, the link to the article I was looking at is here
How often should you have a facial?

I got a dermalogica facial about every 4-6 weeks in the run up to my wedding and my skin has never looked so good as it did at the wedding!
I totally would keep this up now if I had the ££!
2 months is more than enough time in between facials. Once a month is optimum. More than one facial a month I would say would be starting to over-do it.

Thanks ladies! It’s too early in the morning to call a salon and knew that someone here would have a quick answer 🙂

Make sure you don’t get a facial right before your weddign though. A lot of people break out after one. I recommend 2 weeks prior or before.

Now that I’m closer to my wedding, I get facials once a month. If you are getting a facial for the first time or going somewhere new, do not get one closer than 2 weeks to your wedding.
