I’m not a seamstress, and have no experience in dressmaking or anything, but I imagine it would be difficult to go from the top you have to the top you want.  I think they’d have to just take it off and put a new one on, since it’s an entirely different fabric.  That might be possible, but I’m not sure.  Sorry, I’m not helpful 🙁

you could maybe just remove some of hte beading. I think to do more than that would be majour alterations… im no seamstress though.

WOW!  Beautiful dress, and I love it as is, but I can see it the other way too.  I’m not a seamstress, but if you’re really wanting the top in the other picture, I think you’d have to remove the belt and drape satin over the top.

But in my honest opinion, the other top you posted has just as much going on, just in a different way.

What if you removed the spaghetti straps? Also, it looks to be a bit big on top, perhaps you’d feel better about it if it fit better?

Your dress is SO stunning! I really don’t want you to change a thing on it!

I like the tweaks you are suggesting. I feel like its easier to o the other way, and attach a different skirt to your top, rather than change your top outright.

But that’s just what is in the back of my mind. Are they the same designer? If so, they may be able to work with you.
