Weddingbee boards

I have been in so many weddings yet never have been the bride. I always said that if I ever had a wedding that I would want to make those that were part of my special day feel like they are special and that I am grateful for them. Lets be honest.. being asked to be in a wedding is a huge honor, but it is also a huge burdon!! so I wanted to make sure my girls all knew that I knew what they were ding for me by making their invite into the wedding a special one!

I had each girl a shirt made to be used later for the bachelorette party ( they have a comedic spin on them . hope no one is offened!) also created each girl a poem ( my best friend/ long time best friend) is the only one that was different. and last I created a email acct using yahoo.com for each girl with a password and ahead of time sent each email account a email specific to each girl letting them know what they mean to me and how much I love them.

I found these awesome hat boxes that I used to pack them away everything fit perfect ( also subbed for a great keepsake or starge for the girls) I made cards giving the girls the email account information and passwords to log in, then made the poems personalized to each girl and the shirts topped it all off!! hope you enjoy.. I had alot of fun with this and all the girls LOVED them... they cried when the read the poem the burst into laughter when they saw the shirts and then real water works when they finisjed it off with the special email.

Two of my girls live out of town so I had to send them to them. The other three I had meet me at a resturant for "lunch" before they came along to a bridal show. I arived early and enlisted the help of the waiter who was awesome by the way, and he came out when I was "in the bathroom" with each girls box. I got to see their faces and took lots of pictures.... the bridal show was alot of fun after that lunch !! :-)

@Nicoley1985: sounds like you are well on your way !! :-) .. I have always been super excited and very honored to even be asked in every wedding that I have ever been a part of, I just wanted to make it about them cause it wont be long and the focus will shift as the date gets sooner!! Facebook.. now that one I have not had happen yet, phone, text and in person, .. yep, facebook that would be a new one for me! :-) Congrats by the way!
