I just have to share my first crafty wedding project so far... :) I wanted to ask my bridesmaids in a creative way, but nothing TOO over the top or time/$$ consuming.
So... behold the candy bars! Since my ladies are scattered about the state I ended up mailing 4 of the 6 in padded envelopes.
Each one reads: "It would be SWEET if you would be my bridesmaid." And of course there is yummy chocolate inside ;)
Materials:
Hershey's Cookies and Cream Chocolate Bars
1 yard of fabric
2 spools of ribbon
Plain white tags
Paper cut to fit on tags
fine tip markers
Brads - for attaching tags
Glue Dots
