(Closed) How important is it that we have a “theme”?

Not important at all. For most people, a theme is simply their colors, the season, the flowers they chose, anything that keeps it from looking like a random mismash thrown together with no coherency at all. Contrary to popular belief, themes are done all the time but they aren’t elaborate unless you want them to be.

The dress and the food for example have nothing to do with the theme/vibe/motif of the wedding.

Cherry blossoms absolutely work with a vintage theme. Especially since it’s not a plant that was recently discovered and it has been around forever.

I didn’t have a theme….unless you could “colors i like and things i like”. Then i guess there was a theme…Things EJS likes. Seriously, i haven’t been to one wedding with an actual theme, carried out and everything.
