i think she has a horizontal fascinator of black feathers like it looks like a hump wear her hair is. Have you thought of having a fascinator with a comb perhaps to make it stay?
She is wearing a bandeau style birdcage veil with a black feathered fascinator that goes across the top backside of her head. It also seems like some of it may be "sewn" into her hair.

I am not exactly into veils myself since I don't like the symbolism that is attached to them and the history behind them. But I recently discovered one I actually like even if I don't end up wearing one. In the music video for Helena by My Chemical Romance, the ballerina/"lead actress" is wearing a fishnet veil that lays over her forehead and nothing else and doesn't appear to be attached with pins or combs or anything of that nature. How would something like that even stay in without a ton of bobby pins? Of course, if a person has baby fine hair, even bobby pins have a hard time staying in.
