I am being super picky about my invites and ordering samples before I buy. I don’t want to just order 100 of something without feeling the paper and seeing everything in front of me! So far I have been so glad I did, because one of the ones both Fiance and I loved on etsy and looked so expensive, turned out to look so cheap in person! The quality of the printing looked like it was printed on a home computer and on thin cardstock bought at hobby lobby. Not worth the $5/suite I was fixing to pay for them!
Also, the sample package I ordered from Minted has got lost in the mail. It said it was delivered over a week ago, but I’ve yet to receive it. I am so pissed! The delivery didn’t take long, but it took them over a week to send it out. I don’t want to wait 2 more weeks to order another one! Same with some vendors on etsy. Yea, the actual delivery process may only take a few days, but they are so slow at getting even samples out the door!
Anyway, I am coming up on 80 days (the wedding is at the end of November). I need to have meal requests and final head count in 10 days before. So…by November 10th. I want to put the RSVP date as Oct 31 so I have time to call non-RSVPers. So that gives me exactly 2 months from now to pick, order, get in, and send out.
Should I be freaking out or do I still have enough time? What is the absolute last minute I can send? I want to give everyone about 3-4 weeks to RSVP, right??
