Thanks for that very considerate summary at the bottom 🙂

Is there any reason why you can’t get married with a “prop” ring until you real one arrives?

Wow super fail Zales…. oh my god! I cant even believe they gave you such a terrible run around.

I would go somewhere where you could walk away ring in hand. Even if its just a stand in. Honestly look at walmart, pawn shops ect. You could find a hidden gem

You can easily order online in that time frame. What kind of ring are you looking for? James Allen, blue nile, Brian Gavin diamonds, whiteflash are all good choices and if you’re ordering a men’s metal band it shouldn’t take more than a couple weeks. Plus you will get much better quality at any of those vendors than zales.

We ordered ours from Amazon. Seriously. With prime shipping we got them in two days.

We got my husband’s ring the day before the wedding. It was $100 tungsten at JCPenneys.

@BlondeMissMolly:  exactly. Being able to order anything online is such a life-saver. I don’t know how people functioned back in the day when every purchase had to be picked up from an actual brick-and-mortar store…

You can definitely get a ring before the wedding. We bought DH’s less than 3 weeks before.
