snowysaku :  I am so very sorry you’re going through this. Your situation sounds very similar to my road conceiving my son. We finally got pregnant on our 12th cycle, but lost the pregnancy at 8 weeks. I didn’t handle it very well and seeked the help of a grief counselor, which helped immensely. Part of the pain was the thought of having to try again for another year. We started TTC right away and thankfully conceived only 4 months later. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy.

I’m sending so many positive thoughts that you get pregnant with your rainbow baby really soon.

I’m so sorry for your loss. We conceived our son on my third cycle after mc, but it was our first cycle trying. I took 2 cycles off because I didn’t feel ready. Take care of yourself and once you’re ready to TTC again, I hope you get your rainbow baby really soon.

snowysaku :  So sorry to hear this. I had a miscarriage after trying for 11 months and the thought of having to go through the rollercoaster of TTC again was horrible. We conceived again after 3 months of trying but unfortunately that ended in miscarriage as well. I think it’s quite rare to miscarry twice though, the odds are in your favour of a healthy pregnancy next time. Currently on our first cycle trying again. Fingers crossed for your rainbow xx

Hello. It took me about six months – but I kind of stopped trying after the MC. My friend had two MC in a row – got her third BFP about 2 months after 2nd MC and is now about 30 weeks.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Be strong. Sending love .

snowysaku :  I’m sorry for your loss. I have had two d&c’s. They were both physically easier than I anticipated. When you say without anesthesia are you referring to general anesthesia or any sedation at all? I did not have general anesthesia, but had IV sedation for both and don’t think I could have done it without sedation. Although it was conscious sedation, I hardly remember either procedure and feel that I needed that as it is a very difficult thing to go through emotionally.

snowysaku :  I don’t have an answer for you, I just wanted to say I’m sorry about your loss and I know how you feel. I fell late last year after 8 cycles and miscarried at 8 weeks.

Still trying now and about to go into my 3rd cycle since my miscarriage, hopefully not too much longer for either of us x

snowysaku :  I don’t blame you for being concerned. Can they send you somewhere else so you can get sedation? You could go tomorrow and discuss options with them and opt not to do the procedure tomorrow. Best of luck! I know it’s a very anxious/scary thing to have to go through.

snowysaku :  I was put under general anesthesia at an outpatient surgical center for my D&C. I am glad I was sedated, not necessarily from a pain perspective, but mainly for my own mental/emotional health. Hugs to you, bee.

So sorry for your loss. I had a m/c after 8 months of trying and it took another 8 months to conceive my son.
