Not for a year at least. We are 26 and 28 and I’ll be just out of school when we marry (like, six whole days out of school)

We are coming up on our 2nd anniversary in a couple of months. We were 27 (me) & 30 (him) when we got married. I’m turning 29 in a couple of months and he just turned 32. I’m off of BC but we haven’t started actively trying. I would be trying right now if I could but we need to hold off until at least February due to my work schedule.

I’m 31 and DH is 30.  We were married almost two years ago and just started TTC this summer.  It’s not the most ideal timing for me, as I’m finishing up a teacher’s certification program this upcoming semester, but time is indeed ticking.  I want the opportunity to have two children before 35.

coffeedrinker:  we planned to wait 6-9 months but got pregnant 2 months after. Our baby was born a month before our first anniversary. Don’t regret a thing and dH was the one super ready for kids. I could have waited a year or two! Can’t imagine life without my daughter. She is the greatest thing to ever happen to me and now (she’s 5 months) I’m dyinggggg for #2!!

coffeedrinker:  At firdt we thought we were going to wait 2 years to start trying but I had really bad baby fever and we agreed to start trying the end of this year. Im going to be 30 in January so I know my clock is ticking.

When we start trying we will have been married 1 year and a month.

I know someone who got pregnant on their honeymoon!

coffeedrinker:  I had just turned 34 getting married and have been TTC since before our wedding, about a year and a half now. I am pregnant at the moment but running behind so am not hopeful. I’m so glad I didn’t wait or I definitely would have regretted it. In a group of 10 friends all in early to mid 30’s, 6 got pregnant very quickly (most first cycle) and 4 had issues, varying from having to have IVF (2) and MCs (2). Two of us still don’t have children. The chances are things will be fine and you do have time. However, I wouldn’t be waiting longer than a year.

I’m 11 weeks pregnant now. I’m 31 and my husband is 32. We were married in October 2012 and we waited until May 2014 to TTC. During that time we did a lot of international travel, worked on our house, and just enjoyed married life. I got pregnant the first month we tried to conceive.

Probably a year (give or take a few months). I’m 21 and FI is 23, and we’ll be 22 and 24 on our first wedding anniversary. We want to enjoy being a married couple for a while and buy a house before we have kids.

I went off of hormonal birth control back in May after being on it since I was 14, and I ovulate and have regular cycles so we’re hoping it won’t take long to conceive wheb we start trying, but who knows.
