I had my withdrawal bleed about three days after taking my last pill and then I had my next period 35 days later.

It can take up to six months for your hormones to naturally regulate themselves so don’t panic just yet.  Take another test in a couple of days and if you’re still concerned then maybe give your Doctor a ring.

you should have a widthdrawl bleed within a few days off coming off the pill, as you would of with every month that you have been taking the pill. then your actual period can vary when it comes it could be any time could take up to 6 months or longer…

but if you have not had your widthdrawl bleed that is a bit odd… have you been taking your pill as you are meant to like having your period every month still…

i would wait a week if you still have not had widthdrawl go and see your doc

My first one came like normal (withdrawl bleed). My 2nd one came after 28 days. My 3rd came after 36 days.  We’ll see what happens this month!

But like the others said, for some people they don’t get it for months.

I second the others- did you have any type of bleeding immediately after going off the pills? My instructions told me that even if I decided midway through the pack to stop taking BCP, to still finish off the pack and then quit. I didn’t want to take the pills a day longer than I had to, so I quit mid-pack. I got a little bleeding about 2 days after that (very light, with no period symptoms). My next actual period wasn’t until almost 7 weeks later.

But, 2 years ago I quit (also mid-pack) and I didn’t have any type of bleeding for almost 6 weeks, so really, quite a variance to how your body can react after going off hormones. Good luck!

I had my withdrawl bleed as I would on the pill. My first non BC period came about 27 days after, so I ovulated right away. Right now, I’m in my second cycle off of BC. It’s looking like it’ll arrive at the same time since this weekend I had crazy sore nipples probably from ovulation. Once this month’s period arrives, I’m going to start charting, but so far, it’s been pretty regular. Also, since it’s been well over a month since ending BC, my body feels so much more normal than before. So glad that the first two weeks off BC were only temporary. It felt like kicking an illegal drug so much so, it was kind of scary. Now, all is well with it.
