How Long after You Dropped Did You Go Into Labor?

So I dropped this weekend and would like to know how long it took Hive Moms to go into labor after they dropped. Yes, I'm only 34 weeks, but this really has me thinking: will labor be coming soon? Did you even notice that you dropped?

@cannotwait: Well, that would put me closer to my due date, so that's good.

Idk when I dropped, if I ever really dropped at all.  It can't hurt though, right?  At least you know Wombat is in the right position.

Ummmm... I don't remember, but I know I dropped way early for both mine and my son was a week over and my daughter was 4-5 weeks early.  Both dropped around the same time, I think.

Never pregnant, but my SIL dropped at 35 weeks and went into labor over 4 weeks later. I believe 3-4ish weeks after is "average" (if there is such a thing!)

Hmmm. I'm hoping that, since this is my second pregnancy, a drop would mean I'd go into labor 3-4 weeks from now. Wombat will be full baked and my sister will be in town.

I dropped at 33 weeks and ended up going overdue.

I got a bit worried around that time cause I had weird contractions and baby had dropped so everyone was saying you're going to be early but she just was a happy little low rider.

Not sure if you're uncomfy but my body had some pains as it adjusted to her new position but luckily it was temporary pain.

@troubled: No pains, but I did feel the weight of Wombat for a little bit.

I never dropped before going into labor- I was convinced that I'd go way overdue since DS never dropped, but then my water broke 10 days before my due date! I wish he had- then maybe it wouldn't have taken 20 hours to get him out...
