Not wedding, but it took me a month to finish thank you notes for my shower. I still feel guilty about it, but I was traveling for half the month!
Congrats on finishing so early!
We'll probably be about three months because we were waiting for our photos to come back. I feel bad because it seems like a long time, but the chance to show off our awesome wedding photos was too good to pass up!
we did all of ours withing the 6-week mark for people who gave us gifts right before and at the wedding. and then we're planning to send a thank you card w/photos to everyone who came next week, which will be ~3.5 months after the wedding.
I think we were done with all of them by 2 months. It felt SO good to drop that last group in the mail...
I was lucky in that my photog has been able to get my photos back to me within a couple of weeks after the wedding. I've already sent to have my thank you cards printed off and hope to mail them to guests by the end of the week which will be less than a month.
First we had to wait for the photog to get our pics back to us then we picked a pic and had to wait for the cards to be made and them we moved and we got side tracked with the whole packing/ unpacking thing and had to furnish a whole new house and we both started new jobs so it was almost 4 months before I finally got them all done. I felt so bad but things were just so crazy!
It was about 3 months for us. We didn't get our pictures for 8 weeks and we sent out picture postcard TY's. I think they were all done before the end of the 3rd month.
Pictures as thank you notes - what a GREAT idea!! One of my bridesmaids chose to do that for her wedding as well. I think it's fantastic! :)
3 Months - Just finished! Would have liked to finish earlier, but I got really burned out from my job after the wedding
I think we got the last of ours in the post just over two months after the wedding - about 90% of them were done long before that but there were just those last few hanging on.... it was such a relief to get the last of them sent!
