I'm tagging along on this thread too! FI is supposed to be in a wedding on Labor Day and so far we've heard nothing about what he's supposed to wear!
We're getting married Sept 18. I just told my FI that he needs to get this set up with his fellas by mid-may
Our wedding is in Oct and he has an idea of what they're wearing, but I'm thinking that he should start seriously searching no later than June. That way he can have them start to get fitted by August.
I'm with denverbridelet. I told my FI that he needs to pick out his tux by beginning of May and the GM need to be measured and order their tuxes by mid-/end of May.
I've been so busy trying to organise my dress, the decor and everything else I had completely forgotten about the men! Thanks for the reminder!
We did this at the 6 months before our wedding (this month), only because I am paranoid and wanted them to get it done ASAP ;)
I read you're supposed to do it 4-6 months before so we went today for our October 1, 2010 wedding. Just over 5 months away.
Men's Wearhouse was like you're doing this so early. We just wanted to get it done so it could be another thing checked off the list.
We already have our order in, and our wedding isn't until March of 2011. I am going to have the guys go in a couple months prior to our wedding to get fitted.
We did ours about 11 months in advance. lol FH was anxious. Plus since our wedding is on a holiday, we wanted to give people a heads up.
Well ladies, my fiance has yet to go look at tuxes . I have been LOVINGLY nagging him so this weekend he is going with his nephew ( bestman). He's never worn one before, oughta be interesting to say the least.

Just curious how long before the wedding the men typically start looking into their outfits for the day?
We are getting married Nov 27, 2010
I need a date to give my FI so it gets done!
