Good evening bees! We just sent out our invitations three days ago, on Wednesday The 21st of May….how long before we should start seeing some RSVPs come back??? Do most people wait until the last minute? By the way, heres some pics of our invites! They were addresses by a professional caligrapher from etsy, and stuffed by professionals too! Haha! If anyone knows how to black out our personal info, I’d love to post the actual insides! Thanks!

I got one rsvp back within a week, then I got 3 or 4 back after about 12 weeks and never got the rest.

FYI the simplest way to black out the personal information:
1) Create a duplicate of your original picture
2) Open the duplicate picture in Microsoft Paint
3) Change the color to black
4) Click on the create a square tool (make sure the fill is solid)
5) Clicking and dragging over the information you want to cover will create a rectangle on it.
6) Save your picture.
Let me know if you have any issues with this.

We started getting RSVPs from close family (you know, the ones you already know are coming) in just under a week (sent Wednesday, heard people got them Friday, got first RSVP on Tuesday). We sent them 3 weeks ago and have mostly only heard from close family. Our RSVP deadline is still a month away.
As far as blocking out the personal info, the paint method (as pp said) is great for PCs. On a Mac, in iPhoto, you can use the tool that “fixes” blemishes/imperfections. Just run it over the words a few times and it will make them all blurry or the same color as the background. If you aren’t too computer savvy, I’ve also seen people just use little strips of paper on the invites when they take the pictures.
