Hi! So, I’ve been waiting for 2 months for my wedding pictures. Is that normal? The family is driving me bananas asking for the pictures and I also want to be able to see them and have them once and for all.

Mine were delivered six weeks after my day.

@puplelishious: Ya. I had issues with my photographer. I waited 5 full months for digital images.
2 months is long, but most photographers should have images to you in 3 months. So hopefully your wait won’t be too much longer.

I’m hoping to have mine any day now. My photog went on bed rest 2 weeks after our wedding, so the timeline of “aboue a month” is a bit pushed back.

We got ours back about 5 weeks after our wedding. Our photographer was a friend of ours so I think she did ours before she did other weddings she’d shot prior to our wedding.

It’s been 1 month to the day and we’re still waiting :/

usually somewhere in your contract it will say how long they have to get your pictures back to you. Mine says 90 days after the event, and that’s about average for her. It just depends on how many weddings/sessions/event etc your photographer takes on. I know mine does a TON of weddings so I am already prepared for it to take the 3 months. I don’t think that’s abnormally long at all.

I’ll let you know when I finally decide to order them.

I received my 6 weeks after the wedding.. It was the longest 6 weeks ever!

@puplelishious: I just noticed we have the same wedding date.

I had my wedding photos and the day after photos three days after my wedding.

@puplelishious: UGH. I am still waiting for my pictures, too. We’re approaching the 11th week. It is unbelievably frustrating especially when I follow her on Instagram and see pictures that she posts of her out drinking or “having a lovely day at the beach”. I get that she has a life but all I see is that she’s not editing my photos! Haha. I’ll take anything at this point, even just being able to see one picture would give me some much needed patience.

I got them the same night as my wedding day… but I know it’s an exception. I retouched my own pics, with permission of the photographer.
I looked at them during my honeymoon

6-10 weeks is standard in the industry and varies according to how busy the photographer is and how much editing they do to each image.

They told me six weeks, hope that is true because I’m going crazy, as well!
