mscuppycake:  we were super lucky, we were at the beginning of wedding season (may 17) and our photographer told us 4-6 weeks (or maybe it was 6-8 I don’t remember) either way, we had our pictures by the last week of June.  When we booked she said if we were later in the season it would be an additional 2 weeks

She has since changed her timelines, I think she realized she was over promising and making a lot of stress for herself.

3 months seems to be pretty normal from what I’ve heard.

mscuppycake:  I’m getting my photos back on Tuesday and it will be 8 weeks, 3 days. Its been a rough wait to get em back. Thankfully I have 2 jobs and lots going on to keep my mind occupied and not focused on getting them back. In my area its normally for 6-8 weeks but our contract says up to 3 months (12 weeks). It really depends on what season your wedding is in and how many weddings/engagement/ family photos etc the photographers have to edit.

We were told 6 weeks, but actually got them back in almost exactly a month! I was so anxious to get them back but I loved them!

We got nearly 600 photos just shy of 2 months after. They also did video for us. Their contract stated 3-4 months so I was really happy!

We were told 3 months as our photographer said they end take over 10,000 photos that they have to filter through (we ended up with just over 1000?). While it is a long time, we also figured that we’d have photos from family and friends that we’d end up seeing to keep us happy until we received the professional ones.

In the end, we were really lucky and really happy to receive ours in just under 3 weeks?? I don’t know how but they were amazing! Our wedding was 30 November, and we got them before Christmas! So was like an early awesome Christmas present 🙂

I don’t know how they did it because our package included so much stuff and I know they were shooting another wedding the next day in a different city
