Assuming you were generally healthy (no medical issues and/or infertility), how long did it take you to conceive? I just turned 30, and my husband and I started TTC in January. I was on hormonal BC only briefly, years ago, and while I have a range of gastrointestinal problems, as far as I know, nothing that should affect getting pregnant. When did you get KU?

I just turned 30 in January, too (happy birthday to us)! I also have no known medical issues, but was on BC for about 10 years before coming off 6 months before TTC. We conceived after 3 months of trying. I’m now just over 12 weeks pregnant.

I am 32 and it took us 1 cycle of trying.

I was 32, first try worked. I’ll be 33 in 2 weeks and we are currently TTC again, first cycle after a late-term loss in December.

Everything checks out with me, I’m in my mid-20s, and we’re now on cycle 10. There’s a chance there’s male factor infertility involved, but we’re not sure.

It’s something like 50% of healthy couples are pregnant after 4-5 months. And 85% by one year.
So as long as you both have no issues, it shouldn’t take long at all.
I was on BCP for 16 years and it happened the first month after I went off.

Not pregnant yet but I’m 22 and he’s almost 23, neither of us have any known health or fertility issues – this month is our 4th cycle. We plan to visit a doctor after our 6th cycle if we still aren’t successful by then.

@CraftyBelka: Generally healthy and improved diet to TTC. It took 8 cycles to conceive (I was 34) and am TTC again after a mmc. This is my second cycle. So ten cycles in total so far, 1 year in time.

I was 27 when we started trying. We basically got our BFP on the 2nd consecutive try. Now we’re just waiting to make sure the little bean is going to stick around. : )

Both of us are completely healthy. It took me 8 months to conceive and I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. It took me another 8 months to conceive our rainbow baby and now I’m 26 weeks.

@kes18 THANK YOU, you gave me hope. I’ve been on BC for 15 years and literally took my last pill on Saturday and we are hoping to conceive very soon, so to hear that you and so many other bees have gotten pregnant so quickly gives me hope our time could be soon!

DH and I have been TTC for over a year now (14 cycles). We are both 24, healthy, and take good care of ourselves. At the moment, it is thought that my susceptibility to stress is throwing my hormones off a bit, and hindering ovulation. I am working with a nautropath to balance my hormones naturally, because I wasn’t quite ready to start taking meds. In a few months, if I am still not pregnant we will re-evaluate everything, and then decide where to go from there. I just pray it doesn’t get to that point.
Also, I will add that I was never on BC, and prior to TTC my cycles were always 28-30 days. Since beginning TTC, they have been anywhere from 23-41 days. And, (I apologize for TMI) DH and I had simply practiced withdrawl for a year and a half prior to TTC.
