@anu505:  First of *HUGE VIRTUAL HUGS* I am sorry you are still struggling with your TTC journey.  I’ve been there and I know it never gets easier.  However, eveytime you try something, it is step closer to your BFP (at least that’s how I tried to cope with it).  I didnt have your protocol, I had to do IUI (3 rounds) to finally get my BFP.  There is hope and as long as you ARE doing something about it, you will get YOUR BFP.  I know it’s easier said than done.  It took me 13 cycles, but I got there.  GL pretty!! 🙂

anu505: We’re are all here to support each other through this process of TTC/ pregnancy! Welcome to the club! I clomid+HSG worked wonders for you and you got your BFP.

I came across your post looking for information on immature follicles. How did you GYN figure this out. We have been TTC for 6 months with no BFP. I ovulate regularly and all my hormonal tests have come out normal. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the results came back normal except that my dominant follicle was only 16mm. I had some O pain last night and this morning I had a huge temp shift on my BBT signalling ovulation. So, my follicle must be between 16-18mm when it burst. From my reading, this is not very good. A mature follicle is at least 18mm and for good chance of conception you want the follicle to be at least 20mm. So, I wondering if this is our problem.

Does this sound like your experience? Did you find that clomid made your follicles more mature before ovulation? (I’m wondering if the follicle size you reported after clomid is vastly different from what you had on your own).

TTC is really tough when it doesn’t happen right away particularly when there seems to be no reason for it. There are many stories here of women who have gone on to have successful pregnancies after many months of TTC. Many of them will tell you that it was all timing and just letting things go. I hope you have convinced yourself that everything is fine and it will definitely happen for you. Keep your chin up, sweet heart!
