For my first shower, wrote them the next day after the shower because I was on holiday from school. For the previous shower I sent them out a week after the shower because I'm back in school and this last semester is crazy busy. So, I think you're right on time. At least according to my standards!
My shower was on a Saturday and the TY's went out that Monday.
My shower was a saturday and I spent a few hours that Sunday writing personalized thank yous to each person. Put them in the mail on the following Monday.
Wow, super fast there for some of you! Did you have a lot of guests? I could only manage to write about a max of 10 per sitting before I'd get dizzy...
@Stammie16: I had about 30 guests. I made my fiance address the envelopes and I wrote the thank yous.
My first batch went out two days after the shower (Monday, after a Saturday shower). The rest went out the following Saturday, so one week.
@Stammie16: I had about 35 guests so roughly 35 TY's to write. It probably took me 2 hours tops.
I had 80 guests and received around 90 gifts. I was on xmas break from work so I finished all of them within a week.

Whew! I JUST finished my last batch of thank you notes from my shower which was on Jan 28th. All ~50ish in less than 2 weeks! Hand-written, personalized to each person. Kinda proud of myself. How about you ladies? Is < 2 weeks fast, average, slow?
