Mine was done in a day but the jewelry store I go to has a repair center on site. if they have to send it out to be done, it might take longer.

I had to have mine sent out, and I was without them for about 2 weeks.  It felt like forever!!

I haven’t had mine sent (obviously, we’re not married yet!) but when we asked about it they said it would take the normal time for a ring being sent out for repair — 10 to 14 business days. Boo 🙁

I haven’t had mine done yet because I don’t want to have to be 2 weeks (which seems like the norm if they have to be sent out) without my rings! I love them too much to give them up!

The store has everything right in the store and it will be done within a few hours. One of the reasons we dealt with them and not some of the chain stores. No middle man and NO waiting.

it totally depends on your jeweler. when I got my ring sized up, it took them 2 weeks! and that task is about equally as labor intensive as soldering two rings together.

I took my ring in to a different jeweler for a modification (I wanted them to make the band thicker) and they had my ring for about 5 weeks!

my advice: get yourself a fun CZ ring as a stand-in to tide you over while you wait.
