@ladyamalthea:  I didn’t wait long at all Embarassed

We had been friendly for quite some time, and we were obviously attracted to each other, but had both recently gotten out of serious relationships.  We ended up fooling around at an after party he hosted after one of his band’s gigs.  Slept together soon afterward.

We both treated it like a casual physical thing, and it just blossomed from there.

Oh boy, I didn’t wait nearly as long as I should have. It was just around the week and a half mark. He was my first – Guess it wasn’t a bad thing though seeing as it worked out pretty nicely! It was just strange for me I’d been in numerous relationships where i had absolutly no desire to give anything up, till him.

3 months. But we were in a LDR at that point, so it was our 3rd time seeing each other as BF/GF.

First date I got a little tipsy & we ended up in bed… Didnt know if anything would come of the relationship & we were immediately inseperable the next day! LOL. So sometimes IT DOES WORK OUT;)

2 weeks…and he told me it was the longest anyone had ever made him wait before!

I wasn’t interested in have sex right away but I did bring him home with me the night we met. I probably wouldn’t have waited longer than a month with anyone anyway.  I’m not that patient.

Well… we started dating at 15 and were both virgins. We didn’t do it until we were 20! 😡

Yeah, I made him wait 5 years. Poor guy 😛

@ladyamalthea:  I actually don’t remember. I feel like it was about a week – not long. I really don’t see sex as a big deal though. I would have sooner but we didn’t have latex free condoms.

    @ladyamalthea:  Our one year anniversary

We were in high school and had done things leading up to sex but neither of us was willing to have sex. I would lie and say “Oh I forgot something at my best friends house” and then never come back and he would freak out and say “Wasn’t there a movie you wanted to watch”

When we had sex the first time I was on my period and we thought we should take a shower together. It was beyon awkward and I am pretty sure we laughed the whole time 🙂

I wish we waited until marriage but he was my first, last, and only so not too many complaints

First date!  But we had already been close friends and were well on our way to falling in love, so . . .

Not that I haven’t slept with people on the first date under less ideal circumstances 😉

@ladyamalthea:  I waited until…wait for it…my wedding night! BUT I was not a virgin. Dh was and wanted to stay that way until we were married, and I respected him enough to wait. We got married after a little more than two years after meeting.

I waited a year with my ex-FI. And I probably would have had it sooner with my now DH had he not wanted to remain a virgin.

I used to jump the gun and (shocker) would end up hurt. I waited a bit (a few weeks) with my FH because I sooo wanted to be a girlfriend and not a hookup. And, it worked! Wish I could tell my younger self that.

Exactly 28 days.  Funny story, actually, and one I can’t put in the “Our Story” section of our wedding website lest it be seen by conservative relatives:  I met FI through friends I lived with junior year.  He had his own apartment, but he also has the ability to fall asleep instantaneously and is known for crashing on friends’ couches after hanging out.  After a number of these impromptu sleepovers, he started to complain about the sofa making his back hurt.  We’d been giving each other the lookie-look for a few weeks at this point, and one night I blurted “well, then why don’t you come sleep in my bed with me!” which was SO OUT OF CHARACTER for me (a virgin with zero relationship experience).  Anyway, he accepted, and for 28 days he and I slept together relatively chastely… until the night that we didn’t 🙂
