Mine took about two hours for an updo, and that included putting it in rollers, and the actual updo. They did my make-up while my stylish finish my hair, though, so the two hours included hair and make-up.
oh ok, I'm planning on doing my own make up, back at the house. And it should only take about 10 minutes since I'm not really doing anything different than I do on a daily basis.
most of what I've heard from other brides is that it took about 2 hours.
My hair trial took about an hour. I imagine it won't take much longer than that on the day.
Have you had a hair trial? What kind of style are you planning on having? You could always talk to your stylist and ask how long she thinks you should allocate for your hairstyle...they tend to have a good approximation of these things. My hair took about 45 min in my trial, but I expect it to take about an hour when it's the real deal and more finalized.
my stylist is lightning fast. she did mine in 30 minutes.
actually she was so fast she did 8 hairstyles in like 3 hours.
oh and they all lasted all night!
@5292010, no I'm not having a trial because it's an additional $50 just for the trial, and I don't have that money to spend. So I'm hoping it will all come together well.
@vistagirl, oooh well lucky you! I've never heard of someone's hair getting done so quickly! congrats

Just curious how long it took. Our salon appointment is at 9am, and the ceremony is at 1pm. But I wanted to do the First Meeting pictures before the ceremony - and I'm afraid we won't have enough time!
